The Education Committee discussed the proposal submitted by Representative Ragia El-Feki, a member of the Senate for the Coordination of Youth of Parties and Politicians, regarding “rehabilitation of students in faculties of education in public universities in the third and fourth phases to fill the shortfall in the number of teachers in public schools.”

Representative Ragia El-Fiqi called for preparing a database for students and classifying them according to the fields required by the Ministry of Education, and concluding contracts for them with the ministry to work in public and official schools at a wage suitable for the labor market, while preparing programs for field training and conducting a campaign to measure impact, performance and development.

For his part, Dr. Nabil Dabis stressed that the idea is distinct and entrusts the matter to specialists while giving hope to young people in decent job opportunities and in their appropriate specialties, and said that the return of training for students of the third and fourth teams is very important to prepare a distinguished teacher, an expert and experienced in the educational process. The Chairman of the Senate Education and Scientific Research Committee announced the committee’s approval of the proposal submitted by Representative Ragia El-Feki, regarding “rehabilitating students in faculties of education in government universities in the third and fourth stages to fill the shortfall in the number of teachers in public schools.”

The Senate’s Committee on Education, Scientific Research, Communications and Information Technology recommended the formation of a committee from the Ministries of Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research, to count the number of students registered in faculties of education in all Egyptian universities, especially those in the third and fourth grades, as well as identifying the shortage of teachers and their specializations and the existing weaknesses that need to be developed In some curricula such as computers and the use of educational platforms and languages.

The committee also recommended the preparation of a cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to prepare and raise the efficiency of the programs allocated to the faculties of education, to be offered to them as a training grant and to raise their competence in languages ​​through accredited cultural centers, to be a nucleus for teaching and filling the deficit during their scientific training period in schools during their studies in the third and fourth year, while working Through a protocol with the National Training Academy to prepare students of education through specialized programs in management sciences and business skills.

African Affairs and African Youth Committee

The committee met to take an opinion on the report of the proposal with the desire of Representative Amr Ezzat Hajjaj, a member of the Senate for the Coordination of Youth Parties and Politicians, on “African youth and its role in promoting development among African countries.” Effat El-Sadat, Chairman of the Committee, announced the approval of the Foreign and Arab Affairs Committee on the proposal submitted by the Deputy Coordination Committee on “African youth and its role in promoting development among African countries”, after the approval of government agencies.

It also recommended the need to create departments for African languages ​​in the faculties of arts and education in Egyptian universities, and the committee included these recommendations in the report that it will present to the council for approval.

Culture and Media Committee

The committee recommended the General Authority for New Urban Communities to circulate a circular to all touristic authorities and villages in the North Coast, Ain Sukhna and other places affiliated with the authority regarding the rules and regulations for going to swimming pools, taking into account the personal freedoms guaranteed by the Egyptian constitution.

The committee also confirmed that it is ready to receive all complaints from citizens during the summer season in this regard and to move to resolve them in coordination and cooperation with the concerned authorities at the Ministry of Tourism, the New Urban Communities Authority and the Tourism Development Authority.

For his part, Representative Ahmed El-Kenawy, who presented the proposal with desire, said that any citizen has the right to wear the appropriate dress for him and his beliefs as long as it does not affect the freedom of others, noting that the “burkini” has become a global phenomenon, saying: “Specific rules must be set for wearing clothes in swimming pools.” Pointing out that the Ministry of Tourism has taken steps in this regard and issued directives to its hotels, noting that there are other facilities that are not affiliated with the Ministry of Tourism, including, for example, the villages in the North Coast and Ain Sukhna, which are affiliated with the New Urban Communities Authority, explaining that some places prevent veiled women from entering parties from the ground up in violation of the constitution, which guarantees personal freedom, which he considered a derogation from the rights of citizens.
